Coming in with a 1-0 record we had a bit of confidence but needed to clean up our penalties. Our offense struggled in the beginning of the game due to new offensive linemen in the mix and some wrong play calls from QB Sakib Muhammad. Taravella broke a long TD run due to four missed tackles in the backfield, which gave them a 6-0 lead after they missed the extra point. But we would respond and score right before halftime with a TD run from QB Sakib Muhammad. We would get the ball back after halftime and continue our momentum. Running back Shawn Rice scored two rushing touchdowns in the second half along with an interception for a TD by Patrick Charles. Tyler Seraphin ran in a two point conversion with Taravella overloading one side and leaving no one to stop the run. We won the game 25-6 and are now 2-0. Patrick Charles named player of the game.
