SPHS and Nova did not play during the regular season because of bad weather. This was the first meeting this year. Both teams played very well and the counter over in transition were very exciting.

South scored when the ball bounced off the Nova goalie's chest and a quick reacting wing slammed the ball home in the net, but we were called for offsides.

Regulation ended in 0-0 and stayed that way after 2- 10-minute overtime sessions. The game went to shoot out with each team getting 5 Penalty kicks.

In the end SPHS won 3-2.
